Who we are

VNTattoo is a Vietnam-focused tattoo studio directory, portfolio, review, saved-list, and tattoo request service.

Information we collect

We collect account details such as email, username, phone number, language, avatar, account type, authentication tokens, and a securely hashed password. We also process studio profiles, portfolio artworks and images, reviews and review photos, private offers and proposal images, and tattoo request content.

Tattoo requests may include guest email, description, images, city, styles, budget, placement, privacy preference, secure guest access token, device cookie, and IP-based anti-abuse data.

When you use “Near me”, your browser or app may send latitude and longitude to our API to rank results. We do not store this precise geolocation as part of your account.

Saved lists may use a browser key/device identifier cookie so you can return to a saved list for up to 365 days.

How we use information

We use information to operate accounts, show studios and artworks, publish and manage tattoo requests, send guest access links and service emails, prevent spam and abuse, moderate content, improve search and recommendations, and provide customer support.

Legal basis and consent

Where consent is required, we ask for it before collecting or processing the relevant data. You may withdraw consent or ask us to stop processing certain data, but this may limit features that depend on that data, such as account access, saved lists, tattoo requests, private offers, image uploads, or location-based search. We may still process information where needed for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, dispute handling, or to provide a service you requested.

Public and third-party data

Some studio listings may be built or enriched from public professional or business sources, including Google Maps data and public web data collected through Apify. Public review names, avatars, ratings, and review text may be displayed when they are part of the source data. If you own or represent a listed studio, you can contact us to claim, correct, update, or request removal of eligible listing information.

AI processing

We may use OpenAI to generate review summaries, evidence snippets, and feature extraction from public listing, review, and studio data. Do not submit sensitive personal information in reviews, requests, or messages unless it is necessary for your tattoo inquiry.

Service providers and international transfers

We use service providers to host, store, secure, analyze, communicate, moderate, and improve the service. These providers may include infrastructure, email, storage, anti-abuse, AI, public-data, and communication providers, including OpenAI, Telegram, Google Maps-related services, and Apify. Some providers may process data outside Vietnam. Where we share personal data with providers, we expect them to protect it consistently with this Policy and applicable law.

Notifications

We may send administrative notifications through Telegram. These notifications can include request email, description excerpts, image status, IP-derived location signals, moderation links, and other operational details. Telegram may retain messages according to its own policies.

Retention

Saved lists are retained for up to 365 days unless renewed or attached to an account. Email verification and password reset codes expire after 15 minutes. Soft-deleted artworks may remain in our database for integrity, audit, and recovery. Authentication tokens expire according to their configured lifetime. Telegram operational messages may be retained indefinitely unless manually deleted.

Your rights and choices

Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to know how your data is processed, access it, correct it, withdraw consent, object to or restrict processing, request deletion, request a copy of data you provided, complain to competent authorities, and seek remedies for unlawful processing. You can update account details, change your password, delete or hide eligible content, use account deletion controls where available, or contact us about privacy requests. Some information may be retained where required for security, dispute handling, legal compliance, or abuse prevention.

Children

VNTattoo is not directed to children. If you are under the age required by applicable law to use online services or request tattoo-related services, you must use VNTattoo only with appropriate parent or guardian consent and supervision.

Jurisdiction

This service is operated for Vietnam. Vietnamese law is the governing jurisdiction unless mandatory consumer or privacy law says otherwise.
