I came to Silver Ant for my first tattoo, and Max did a phenomenal job. He was incredibly precise with the details and made sure the size and placement were perfect for my ribcage. His skill and professionalism made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. The team communicated excellently throughout the month leading up to my appointment, working with me to finalize the artwork. Shane was welcoming and walked me through the entire process, helping me feel comfortable and confident. They originally estimated the tattoo would take about 6 hours, but Max completed it in just 4 hours without sacrificing any quality. Since they charge by the hour, I really appreciated the efficiency and felt they were honest and respectful of my time and budget. A couple of months ago I got two tattoos here. One fine line flower and one writing. Both of them healed amazingly! The studio and the people are also amazing. Felt so comfortable and they really listened to my ideas and wishes. The service was really good as well, I didn’t have the right attire and they went above and beyond to get me the right top. Overall, an amazing studio and amazing service. Would definitely recommend!

I was looking for a particular style of microrealism black and white. Silver fang was shown to me. Very close to my hotel I went to check it out. I must say first impressions of the venue was this is very clean modern and lots of awards in the walls. I instantly knew this was a good place. I mentioned to my ideas to the staff and what they created with there very knowledgeable advice was absolutely beautiful. There pricing is very very reasonable/fair for the top quality tattoo I got. I was very unsure with there estimated time but they absolutely nailed it. The care and artistic work Aiden produced. I couldn't be more happy with my new art piece. Phenomenal work. The life time guarantee is a nice touch. If anyone is in hanoi and wants a tattoo this is the place I certainly will be back in the future for more pieces.

I recently got a tattoo at Silver Ant Tattoo with Minnie, and it was probably the best tattoo experience I've had so far. I originally reached out to Minnie directly about getting a dragon and Wukong (the Monkey King) tattoo. She was incredibly friendly, and it was very easy to schedule an appointment with her. After the appointment was arranged, most of the communication was handled by the studio staff, which made the whole process smooth and professional. A few days before my appointment, they sent me a sketch of the design and asked whether there was anything I wanted to change. I really appreciated that they took the time to make sure we were aligned on the design before the tattoo session. The tattoo itself took around 13 hours over almost two full days. One thing I really liked is that they only charge for actual tattooing time. Breaks are included, so you never feel rushed or pressured. What truly sets Silver Ant apart is the overall experience. For full-day sessions, they provide both lunch and dinner, and you can choose from a menu with several options. The food was delicious. They also ordered pineapple juice for me a couple of times during the session when I needed a bit of sugar and energy, which was a thoughtful touch. The biggest compliment I can give is to the people working there. Every artist and manager I interacted with was incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional. The atmosphere in the studio is fantastic, and everyone genuinely seems passionate about what they do. While I was there, I had the chance to see some of the other artists' work, and the level of talent throughout the studio was very impressive. I was also extremely happy with the aftercare guidance. I've received some questionable aftercare advice from other studios in the past, but the information I received from Silver Ant was thorough and professional. They even provide an aftercare package that includes ointment and saline solution to help with the healing process. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my experience. The quality of the work, the professionalism, the hospitality, and the kindness of everyone at the studio made this an unforgettable experience. I'll definitely be coming back the next time I'm in Vietnam.

Still annoyed by how ripped off I was here. Overcharged for a very low-quality tattoo. I don’t know why everyone else’s experiences were different, mine was not at all good. Potentially the other reviewers receive some kind of bonus for their review.

During a rainy day in Hanoi, I couldn’t go anywhere, so I suddenly decided to get a tattoo—and I just went for it. It was such a spontaneous decision, but totally worth it. The tattoo artist was incredibly kind, professional, and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. The studio was clean, cozy, and had such a welcoming atmosphere. Now I have a beautiful little memory from Hanoi with me forever 🌸

When I contacted Silver Ant Tattoo they were very kind and very fast to reply! I had some problems with the advance payment (due to poor internet connection at the time) but still they were very patient en friendly. When I arrived at the studio for the advance payment we also made the real tattoo appointment and looked at the size of the design and also the placement. The next day I had my appointment and my friends were very curious what that process looked like. When I asked if they could come with me they were offerd a drink and they could come and watch me get tattooed! I highly recommend this place! My tattoo is perfectly healed, my artist really took her time to make sure it was PERFECT! During this whole process the staff was kind, friendly, patient (regarding advanced payment and bad connection on my end) and made sure I was comfertable. This place is amazing. When you walk in it immediately feels clean and welcoming. It seems to be run by young adults, who offer a professional, welcoming and informative experience, as if they have been doing this for 30 years. They go out of their way to help you make good decision, and help with your art work. The artists are just as professional and all seem to be passionate perfectionists. I wanted a tattoo shop that did very fine lines and I found silver ant! The aesthetics were amazing, vibe was great everyone is super nice I WhatsApp’ed them the nice before then came in the next day, they had tattoo assistance helped me to create my vision In the morning and then told me the tattoo artist with dried up and I could come back in the afternoon to get the tattoo. I got my tattoo done by Rita and ling was the assistant. Had a really great experience everyone in the store was super nice I don’t think you can go wrong with any artist

I would definitely recommend them. It was a very cool studio and the tattoo artist was very helpful. Recommended me various different position for the tattoo and the size of the tattoo according to my liking. The vibes of the studio was just very cool and welcoming.

Amazing service, great artists

I had my nose piercing changed from a stud to a ring here and had a terrible experience. The people in the reception area were really nice and friendly, but the piercer was super rude, only clean the piercing because I asked and didn't clean the area around the piercing before or after changing, the whole thing felt rushed even though the place was empty. 2 weeks after it and my nose never healed, it keeps creating really red bumps, I had to go to a more knowledgeable piercer to fix the mistake and remove the ring. It might be a good place for tattoos but I don't recommend getting pierced here.

My husband had been thinking about getting his first tattoo, but was unsure of what to get, and nervous about the outcome. He knew he wanted it done in Hanoi and convinced me to get my first as well. Being Canadian, we both chose our national symbol, the maple leaf. He did a little research online and picked SilverAnt based on the amazing reviews and the fabulous photos on their website. The staff were very welcoming, and very patient with our nerves and questions, and put our minds at ease. We both had Rita as our artist and she did amazing work that we are both super happy about. He got a larger maple leaf on his tricep, and I got 2 little ones on my ankle to represent my 2 children. We can’t wait to show them! My partner and I decided we wanted to get a tattoo towards the end of our trip in Vietnam. We googled for same day tattoos and Silver Ant came up immediately. I dropped them a message and they got back to me so quickly asking me to come in for a consultation to discuss ideas and show us possibilities and costs etc. Everything was explained so thoroughly that we both decided to book one for two days time as we were off on a cruise. In the meantime they sent over some designs for consideration. They paired us perfectly with artists who specialise in the designs types we were after and they looked after us SO well during the process! It's been one of the absolute highlights of the trip and a great way to wrap it all up. I cannot recommend these guys highly enough!!!
