The Vibe and the Crew: The studio environment and the whole crew are simply on another level. From the moment I walked in, they made me feel completely at home. I had the incredible fortune of being there during their 18th-anniversary celebration, which meant I got to meet members across all three of their studios. The energy, camaraderie, and welcoming spirit of the entire team made the day so much fun. The Creative Process with Dank: I had the pleasure of working with Dank, an extraordinary artist whose creativity, originality, and intuition are second to none. Day One (Consultation): We met the day before to discuss the concept, size, and vision. After chatting and exploring a few options, I decided to give him full freedom to be as creative as he wanted. With incredible speed and talent, he translated the idea into a stunning free-hand sketch that we instantly agreed on. We had great chemistry from the start and understood each other immediately. Day Two (The Session): When I walked into the studio the next morning, Dank was already set up and refining the final design. We kicked off an intensive, 11-hour one-day session (spanning free-hand drawing, feedback, and execution) over morning coffee and great conversation before getting the ball rolling. The Final Result: Dank has a rare gift for listening to a customer's request and transforming it into a masterpiece in no time. The final piece of work speaks entirely for itself (see attached photos) it is, without a doubt, the best tattoo I have ever gotten. Environment + overall experience + final result = Perfection. Dank at Saigon Ink is amazing!!! When we walked in for a simple quote, they were quite busy but everyone was friendly and still made an effort to greet us the new clients. While we waited for the receptionist who was busy with another client, one of the tattoo artists approached us and wanted to make sure if we needed some water and if he could help with anything while we wait. I explained that I wanted a quote for a band tattoo on my forearm and I gave him a general idea. He listened patiently and was extremely professional and gave a quote. He had a great sense of humor and I immediately decided that I would like for him to be the artist I wanted to do the tattoo. After a few more minutes, my appointment was booked for the very next day. That was the best decision ever. The next day Dank was just awesome he went about chatting and putting me at ease and then we started talking about the reason behind my tattoo and my other tattoos and he asked if I would trust him because he had an idea to make my tattoo unique. I went with it and I am not disappointed. The man is an artist. The tattoo is perfect! I highly recommend Dank and Saigon Ink, the Thao Dien branch. The whole place and the vibe is just awesome. I will most definitely be back to get more tattoos, specifically from Dank. I am adding to this because I have gotten my second tattoo from Dank. This man is special. He is a genius. I wanted him to use an illustration made by my artist wife as the basis for a chest and shoulder tattoo. And Dank delivered above and beyond what I imagined. The result is perfect, a wonderful blend of the elements from my wife's illustration and Dank's unique style. You cannot go wrong by going to Dank.

I recently had the pleasure of being tattooed by Dank. He collaborated with me on a design I drew. I wanted the new design to flow and exist alongside another tattoo that I already had. I also wanted Dank to add a bit of his own style and artistry into the design, and I am really so happy with how it came out. Dank is an artist and a master at his craft. He knows how to listen to what you want, and to add and adapt where needed so that it will flow well with the natural curves of your body. Everyone at the studio are wonderful and do their best to create a fun vibe🥰 I highly recommend Dank and Saigon Ink! I will absolutely be back in the future😍

I had an incredible experience at Saigon Ink with Jetlee (Ig: @jetleesaigonink). I came in needing a cover-up and decided to give him total creative freedom to surprise me and oh man, did he deliver! This Neo-Japanese piece is beyond anything I expected. The detail in the wolf and Hannya mask is just insane, and the way he blended the deep blacks with that delicate whip-shading is pure art. It fits my shoulder perfectly and looks so natural. The shop has such a clean, professional vibe, too. If you want world-class work and a smooth process, Jetlee is your guy. 5 stars, no question!

Without doubt the best studio in Saigon. Came here in February for my first tattoo and just had to come back. My Artist and now friend Dank ist truly a remarkable person and one of a kind artist. Dank is a painter! He is incredible, thank you so much bro. I walked into the shop with an idea and badly made chat gpt image trying to give a visual representation of my bad idea. Dank asked my why this piece was important too me, and as I shared the personal reasons he sketched out on my arm something far beyond/superior to any vision I had previously, capturing the importance of it to me perfectly. Looking at this sketch on my arm I knew instantly in my gut that this was the artist for me. I put my trust in him to freehand the peice, he told me he had never made a mistake ;) and he 100% didnt make one on me. We hung our while he created this peice of beauty, he's a really cool guy m that puts you at ease and was happy to spend hours at a time hanging out. Every time I saw a bit of progress in the mirror it was a beautiful surprise. I cant find the words to do this man justice, trust your gut and give him freedom. I will be back to let him finish the rest of my arm by giving him a subject/sorry and letting him work his magic.

First off, I want to say that Saigon Ink is clean, professional, attentive, and has an incredibly comfortable vibe. I walked in after booking an appointment and I was welcomed in like I was apart of the family. For such incredible work, you really can't beat their prices. Dank was my tattoo artist and to say he did an amazing job is an understatement. He took the idea that I had and elevated it beyond anything I was expecting. He was patient, attentive to the needs that I had, and for over 10 hours kept me laughing through the whole session. Dank takes such pride in his work and you can clearly see the creative juices flowing when he's in the zone. I entered this establishment a blank canvas and walked out with a one of a kind piece of art. Alongside Dank, the rest of the staff was very fun to interact with. You can tell that there is a lot of love under this one roof and being a part of that was an experience in of itself. Whether you are a local or a foreigner, Saigon Ink is without a doubt the best place to come to for any kind of tattoo that you can imagine. Every artist has their specialty and they are all talented beyond belief. I cannot wait to come back and not only get another tattoo, but be back in a place I can call a home away from home. Julie was amazing. Great English and such thorough attention to detail. Really cool music had me asking one of the fellas what their playlist was. All the workers sang along and created a sick atmosphere. Tattoo was exactly as desired, no complaints.

Saigon ink sets the standard for tattoo shops in Vietnam. From the quality of the work, to the artists, down to the culture. I was blown away. What started as a full sleeve idea turned into a 3 year long project that eventually become a full sleeve and half chest piece. The staff is extremely detail oriented and professional. Based on my idea I was suggested Dank as my artist due to his extensive experience with blackwork. That was the best thing that could’ve happened for me. Communication is important when trying to explain your idea for a tattoo. I was extremely relieved when I learned Dank was fluent in English. He understood what I was looking for in my piece. He was extremely patient and gave feedback in how I can improve the piece and bring my idea to life, without ever being pushy and always made sure the final decision was mine. Dank has always remained communicative, honest and truly understands how much a project can mean to a client. At Saigon ink it never really felt just like an artist / customer relationship. Got my work done by Dank. Amazing guy that works best if you give him an idea and some guidelines but let him have his freedom. During the process I could really see that he got into his flow. He told me “I don’t tattoo, I paint. And layer by layer he made my idea reality. He always made sure I was doing alright (this was my first tattoo). I really recommend coming to this place. Yes, it might be a bit more pricey than other spots in Saigon however you really get the quality you pay for.

I walked in without an appointment and was immediately greeted by the team here. I had a few questions about my design and Dank was patient, taking the time to explain all the details of the tattoo design, sizing, and all the other questions that I had. After deciding what I wanted, they gave a me a very reasonable price, and started work immediately! I was getting my tattoo from Tony within an hour of walking in the door. Tony did an incredible job! He had a very light touch with great accuracy and felt virtually no pain. This place is clean, professional, welcoming, and comfortable. I HIGHLY recommend getting your tattoo here while you are in the area.
