The manager and owner of the studio is extremely professional: she listens, is available, and responds very quickly. We were able to take the time to discuss my project in detail, as well as my concerns, which really put me at ease. In addition to my new tattoo, I was also able to have an old tattoo, which had unfortunately been botched, touched up. The result is simply incredible: it’s now unrecognizable, in the best possible way! My tattoo artist is truly talented. Her work is extremely precise and the quality is something I’ve rarely seen. I am absolutely thrilled with the result. As for hygiene, everything was impeccable: the studio is clean, the conditions are flawless, and you immediately feel comfortable. The explanations about aftercare and healing are very clear and thorough. Even after the session, if you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to contact them: the owner is very responsive and takes the time to answer you. An excellent experience from start to finish. If you’re looking for a serious, professional studio that listens and has real artistic talent, you can go there with complete confidence!
La gérante et propriétaire du salon fait preuve d’un grand professionnalisme : elle est à l’écoute, disponible et extrêmement réactive. Nous avons pu prendre le temps de discuter en détail de mon projet, mais aussi de mes inquiétudes, ce qui m’a vraiment mise en confiance. Au-delà de mon nouveau tatouage, j’ai également pu faire retoucher un ancien tatouage qui avait malheureusement été raté. Le résultat est tout simplement incroyable : il est aujourd’hui méconnaissable, dans le meilleur sens du terme ! Ma tatoueuse est véritablement talentueuse. Son travail est d’une grande précision et c’est un niveau de qualité que j’ai rarement eu l’occasion de voir. Je suis absolument ravie du résultat. Côté hygiène, tout était également impeccable : le salon est propre, les conditions sont irréprochables et on se sent immédiatement en confiance. Les explications concernant les soins et la cicatrisation sont très claires et complètes. Et même après la séance, si vous avez la moindre question ou inquiétude, n’hésitez surtout pas à les contacter : la propriétaire est très réactive et prend le temps de vous répondre. Une expérience vraiment excellente du début à la fin. Si vous cherchez un salon sérieux, professionnel, à l’écoute et avec un vrai talent artistique, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés !

Ruby runs a great business. In line with Australian standards. Very clean & professional shop. So friendly & welcoming. Great price. Long was the artist for my lantern- such fine, beautiful lines. My husbands artist was Quoc Anh for his smoking duck- also beautiful lines & quick work! Highly recommend. Luna the shop cat was a special bonus for me too :)

When I first came here for my piercing, I was impressed not only by the professional technique and the high standards of hygiene, but also by the many customers getting tattoos. Their tattoo designs were amazing, and they really caught my attention. I’ll definitely come back here to get a tattoo.

Excellent studio, the staff are patient and immediately put you at ease. Just before starting the tattoo, the tattoo artist showed us the new, sterile bags of tools in a very professional manner. We were very satisfied and highly recommend this studio for the quality of their work and their attention to hygiene.

I just got my lip and septum piercings done at BlackOut. The staff was really careful and professional, and everything was super clean. They even use a UV cabinet to sterilize the tools. If you’re in Hanoi, you should definitely check this place out for a tattoo or piercing!

Took my first tattoo very spontaneously before leaving and this place does not make you feel pressure and patiently explain the different type of tattoo. Given the choices and show to me before I proceed just to reaffirm. Very hygienic and lady boss was very welcoming. Highly rated if you are around Hanoi and looking for tattoo studio.

Absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. The entire team at Black Out Room was welcoming, professional, and insanely talented. They made me feel comfortable the whole time, the shop was spotless, and the quality of the work exceeded my expectations. Getting tattooed here became one of the highlights of my trip to Vietnam. I couldn’t be happier with my tattoo, and I can’t recommend this studio enough. Thank you all for such an unforgettable experience—I hope to be back someday!

I absolutely loved my experience here. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcome. They were all incredibly friendly, professional, and guided me through every step of the process. They explained everything clearly, which made me feel comfortable and confident. The shop is clean, well maintained, and has a great atmosphere. The artists are very detail oriented, and the quality of their work really shows. Overall, the service was top notch, and I couldn't be happier with my tattoo. Highly recommended!

Really happy 🖤 incredible work from Bach on these trad tats, they’ve healed perfectly too (despite being on the road and not being able to take the best care of them). The studio is great, really professional, I saw lots of happy customers come and go while I was getting these. The staff are also very kind, particularly the owner who walks around checking in on everyone. On the pricey side but I’d imagine the same as most shops in the area and still cheaper than in Europe, 100% worth it and I definitely recommend the shop. Thanks!

Had a fantastic experience.. My wife and I each got a matching tattoo and needed help with the design. The team at BlackOut Room Tattoo went out of their way with multiple designs and helped us figure out what worked best. Would recommend 10/10.

We walked past and were checking out some of the designs they had on display. We knew we wanted a tattoo while in hanoi. We were welcomed into the store to check out some of the books and designs available. All the staff were so lovely and did not pressure us into deciding anything or wanting us to hurry. We were able to check out multiple books. We walked away with some ideas of what we were interested in, and wasn't pressured into locking anything in. Because of the amazing service we came back into the store as hubby wanted a custom piece. They were able to make up a design and let me flick through the books again with no rush. I FINALLY picked something and like that we booked it in. Day of the tattoo again all the staff were so lovely everything is clean and the staff tattooing honestly have such attention to detail. We definitely would come back for another tattoo if we get to come back to Hanoi.

5/5 experience! Walked in right as they were closing and the owner still took the time to sit down with me, get me booked for the next day, and worked out a price that was more than fair for the quality you get. The artist had a really light hand and clean lines. Aftercare was solid too — they sent me home with actual second skin and ointment, not just the cling wrap some studios use. I’d recommend them to anyone visiting Hanoi

The team was super welcoming and helpful with placement of my tattoo. Getting the tattoo itself was also smooth with the artist showing clear attention to detail, they even let us keep our luggage there for the time we were there. Will go back there the next time I’m in Hà Nội
