Azone Tattoo Studio

TL;DR: This was the best tattoo experience I’ve had to date, and the finished work is exceptional. I’ve been tattooed at some top-tier (and eye-wateringly expensive) studios in London, and the only real difference compared with Azone is that the artists at Azone are even more talented. The artists show meticulous attention to detail in their designs, execution, and hygiene standards. My artist, Karim, is exceptionally talented. He has won awards for his work, and it shows. The linework, shading, and detail in my tattoo surpass work I’ve received from artists charging €150–200 per hour back home. His work is genuinely of a standard you could frame. Beyond that, he was polite, focused, and professional throughout the process. The studio itself is clean, modern, and comfortable - which matters when you’re spending an entire day in the chair. The staff were warm and welcoming, and even went out of their way to buy me lunch during my session. Communication before the appointment was excellent. Responses on WhatsApp were fast and reliable, I received my design a few days in advance for review, and the changes I requested were incorporated the very next day. Pricing and deposit terms were clearly explained, and payment was handled through Wise. At no point did I have any doubts about the professionalism or legitimacy of the business. Is Azone the cheapest studio in Ho Chi Minh City? No. But as with most things, you get what you pay for. My full-day session (over 10 hours) cost 21 million VND, which is towards the higher end for Vietnam but still significantly less than an equivalent session in Europe or the US. Tattoos are something you live with for life, and the quality of work produced at Azone is absolutely worth the investment. Finally, I want to address the three recent negative reviews, which were all ‘coincidentally’ left on the same day. Before booking, I read through the discussions online because I was concerned by claims about changing prices and unclear deposit arrangements. My experience was the complete opposite. The pricing, deposit terms, and design process were transparent from the outset, and everything was handled professionally. Based on my own experience, I found those criticisms difficult to reconcile with the service I received. Azone struck me as an honest, reputable studio that takes pride in its work and treats its clients well. 5/5. I would happily recommend Azone - and Karim in particular - to anyone looking for high-quality tattoo work in Vietnam.

I recently got three tattoos here, all at the same time and they are amazing! The team took so much time and patience to perfect each design, no matter how small the adjustments were, and were friendly and professional the whole time. They even understood when I had to move my appointment last minute due to me getting sick. I thought the prices were very fair, especially considering the time and effort put in by the team, and I get so many compliments on the fantastic detailing. Spoke to someone about booking a tattoo and they were very rude and arguementative. When I discussed about wanting to use a design I had created myself I was told it would not be possible and I would have to use one of theirs. We argued briefly over the phone and asked to cancel my slot for my tattoo to be done and was charged a cancellation fee + never got a refund for my previous deposit.

Unprofessional business and terrible service

Do not have a tattoo with this business very unprofessional and they don’t tell you about non refund policy after you make deposit they scammed me big time and I’m currently having to sort things out with Vietnamese police and bank it’s ruined my holiday as there refusing to give me a refund due to I’m not wanting the tattoo ( I’ve given them 6 days notice) if you see in picture below after I sent the money that’s when he sent the policy saying about no refunds. So if you looking to get a tattoo with them make sure you definitely want it and have time for it due to they won’t give you refund even after 6 days notice. ( I paid £140 for the deposit)😡

Can’t said enough about the artist I got Lil Ned. From the sketch on the consultation to the 3D rendering of the tattoo on my arm to the actual tattoo itself. The tattoo came out better than I’ve hope for with the limited time (1.5 days) I had. If you’re in Hanoi and want to get a tattoo, head to Azone Tattoo Studio and ask for Lil Ned. You won’t be disappointed. Great tattoo and great company.

Incredible studio filled with a ridiculous amount of talent. The artists are not only amazing at what they do but are so so kind. I had nunu for my artist and she made my vision come to life beyond what I could have expected. Great experience here. Super quick and easy, walked in and was seen to immediately. It was very clean and they made sure I was well looked after. I wanted a small minimalistic frog in fine line and we looked at pictures together and chose a style. Very happy with the result!

The artists speak perfect english and helped me a lot to create the designs that I wanted. They are super helpful, caring and kind, we took a lot of time to talk about all my ideas and they never made me feel rushed or anything.
