What can I say… Luan is an utter legend of a bloke, from contact m, through the design phase to getting to Vietnam to be tattooed he was professional, diligent and took the utmost care during each step of the process. Studio is very cool, clean and the A/C was pumping which was great!! 38c on the day I was there. It certainly puts the mind at ease to know that I’m in good hands any time I come back to get more work done.

I had an amazing experience at The Hangout Tattoo Studio in Hanoi with Luan Nguyen and his team. I came in for a large chest piece project over two full days, and everything from start to finish exceeded my expectations. The first thing that struck me was the atmosphere of the studio. Some tattoo studios can feel intimidating, but The Hangout felt welcoming immediately. The interior design is incredible, filled with beautiful artistic details and creative energy everywhere you look. I instantly felt comfortable and knew I was in the right place. I got my first tattoo ever done at The Hangout Tattoo studio by Luan Nguyen. It was a large piece covering the outside of my bicep. I was naturally quite anxious, right from the first time I emailed him till the day of the tattoo. Luan made this process comfortable, but also made every step of the process clear to me. While he was happy with executing the concept for my tattoo, we did have some minor differences when finalising the art piece, he was very clear in what he believed to be appropriate changes and the changes he didn’t think were right. He brought his expertise as a tattoo artist and traditional/neo-traditional artist and was very upfront, polite and clear to me in his views. This was extremely important to me cause as much as I had an idea of what I wanted, we rely on the artist to bring forth this vision while also ensuring the longetivity of the tattoo and its quality. Through the actual process, Luan was really fun working with, and was also clear on what my experience through the tattoo process would be which gave me good peace of mind. I am extremely happy and proud to have a piece of art on my body from Luan and The Hangout Tattoo studio. If you want a quality piece of work with a safe environment, I would recommend The Hangout Tattoo studio and its artists, the vibes are great and really chill. And if you are anxious about your tattoo, then I would definitely recommend Luan and the Hangout Tattoo Studio

I worked with my artist Luan and he is an incredibly talented guy. I honestly had such a great experience from start to finish. The whole team is extremely professional, talented, and genuinely caring. Everyone was attentive and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Luan really took the time to listen to all my needs, ideas, and expectations, and he delivered exactly what I was looking for. I truly have nothing negative to say about my experience. Had the best experience with Riley. Came with no notice and quickly had consultation, she was professional in all aspects and gave me much more than I expected. All the staff were really nice and helpful, and the studio is full with talented artists. Fair prices, and the studio is located in a more remote and quiet area, but still close to city center.

The Hangout Studio Hanoi is an international standard tattoo studio with excellent artists. Prices are on par with international standards. The quality of work produced here is exceptional. The staff are all very friendly and kind. The studio even bought me lunch during my session. If you’re looking to get a high quality piece in a hygienic studio while abroad, I highly recommend The Hangout Studio.
