Had a great experience with Iro Tattoo. Booking before my trip was smooth and they were very responsive throughout. My artist Thanh Nhan was incredibly detailed and precise, really taking the time to perfect the design and placement. The session itself was relaxed and easy-going, and the final piece turned out exactly as envisioned. Highly recommend!

I went with Chu as she has done quite a few colour tat designs. The overall experience was amazingggg! It was expected to be completed in 7hrs, yet chu was able to complete it in 5! Her colour blending was insane and put so so much detail into it. Thank you Chu and team!

My partner and I got tattoos here as a reminder of our wonderful experience in Vietnam. Iro were helpful, lightning fast at replying to messages, and made the whole process so easy. Our tattoos turned out beautifully and both artists were super gentle: so much so that I nearly fell asleep while getting mine!

loved the experience and im so happy with my tattoo! the price point is on a slightly higher side, but i really love Chu's art so i still went for it. loving it sm! especially for non-vietnamese speakers, there is a very friendly assistant/ translator who will be there with u to help with communication. felt very comfortable and welcomed here. also got camera quality photos of my tattoo whoch they will send, loving the new sticker on me 🥰

Amazing experience as always. Got my second piece done by Nhan. Meticulous and attention to detail is a huge reason I return to have another tattoo done by him. I would recommend this studio to anyone if in the HCMC area or traveling like myself.

Loved my experience here at Iro. They were able to squeeze me in as a walk in as I got off a flight and was due to fly home to Australia in a few hours. Was greeted by a lovely English speaking front desk man, who offered cold refreshments and sweets for me and my son. We went through the design I wanted and the size and placement of it and if I wanted anything changed. After I was happy with it, I was walked upstairs to the tattoo studio, which was very clean and looked very professional. I met the tattoo artist Tadpole and we discussed further the tattoo placement before he started. Loved how it turned out. They accepted card payment (attracts a 10% VAT fee) but overall the tattoo was cheaper than what I would pay for in Australia and it has turned out great. Aftercare instructions and ointment was provided. Would come here again. Thank you Iro Tattoo team.

Ultimately, I did end up liking my tattoo, but I didn’t enjoy the process. I would have liked to speak directly with the artist about my idea, which in my case was Nhi. However, throughout the experience, she only came around to look at the scar I was covering and to do the actual tattooing. She was at the shop the entire time, but I had to communicate through her assistant, who relayed my messages and ideas to her. This created a frustrating back-and-forth for me, almost like a game of telephone. The consultation is half of the tattoo experience, but I wasn’t able to speak to the artist directly. I wasn’t 100% satisfied with the design, but I was tired of the back and forth (since every time the assistant went upstairs to relay a message, it took around 15 minutes), so I ended up going with it. Fortunately, I don’t hate it, and the artist is talented, but it’s also not exactly what I truly wanted. The price was also quite high for Vietnam. I believe getting a tattoo should be a personal experience where I can have a direct conversation with the artist who is putting permanent art on my body—not through an assistant (the assistant was extremely kind, no hate towards her), especially when the artist is present at the shop. It didn’t feel personal, and I won’t be coming back. Edit: Responding to the owner’s response- I speak fluent Vietnamese and spoke Vietnamese with the assistant the entire time. When the artist came down to look at my scar, I spoke Vietnamese to her too.

Last Monday my daughter and I both had tattoos done ,I went on Tiktok and found this place had great reviews and we are so happy we did. I had @tnhan.ink and my daughter had @tadpole.tattooist.They both did amazing job,they both have given us a great memory of Vietnam to bring home with us to Australia Thankyou somuch 🙂

Love my tattoo I got from Chu. Was able to come in for a walk in appointment and they were able to make some on the spot alterations to the tattoo I wanted to make it work for me. Love Chu’s flowing tattoo style! They had someone there that was able to speak English and they all made me feel super comfortable during the entire process.

Couldn’t be happier with my experience at this studio. Nhi is such a talented artist - patient, precise, and genuinely cares about getting every detail right. She brought my vision to life even better than I imagined, and made the whole process feel easy and comfortable. Already planning my next piece when I’m back!

If trendy is paying twice as much here , then you have come to the right place. Owner is often not there and therefore artists lost because the owner is apparently the only person who can overprice their work. Go elsewhere because what they talk about is their flow technique as a point of difference, is what every tattoo artist in the world does. Nothing special to see here people ! Clean ; Yes, professional artist; Yes however poor management : period!

I came for a flash with Nhi and I couldn’t be happier as to how it turned out! Everybody was so nice, the salon super clean and the staff super helpful :) Recommend this place 100%!!

Iro Tattoo is by far my favorite shop to get my tattoos done! I will only trust them with my tattoos from now on! I got my tattoo done a few weeks ago and I absolutely loved it. So I already had a vision of my first tattoo but I am no artist and I send my sketch to nhi and her team, which they were super supportive in making my vision come to life!! (In short notice too) I absolutely love how it turn out, not just the tattoo but also how they were able to grasp at what I was trying to achieve. They will also have a videographer/photographer on site, which is like damn interesting experience because they are just taking your first hand feelings??? Very cool. And nhi is super sweet. They seem to be one of the most popular amongst the flow /abstract tattoo in Vietnam HCM, so if you r considering, please do reach out. Just that note that only accept vietnam bank transfer or cash, so if you are a foreigner, do prepare with a stack of cash.

I had an amazing experience getting a fine line tattoo with Nhi. She absolutely nailed the design on the first try and it was exactly what I envisioned. came from nyc to get a tiger cub tattooed by Nhi and it was everything i wanted & more!!! i even got a second flash tattoo while i was there done by Chu. everyone at the shop was so sweet and hospitable, there are english translators in case you don’t speak viet. the shop was beautiful & their work was even better!!! highly recommend if you’re in hcmc looking for a fine line tattoo shop!

i'm seriously in love with my new tattoos and my tattoo artist. Nhi was so incredible to work with from start to finish. the inquiry, planning, designing, and the tattooing was straightforward and smooth. Absolutely love their flow style from Chu or Nhi. I would recommend making time to come in for touch up which they include. Mine faded a bit but they happily retouched! I had some trouble with creating a design here but I would love to come back if I have my own design or I’d do their flash again!

My first time getting a tattoo overseas, and it was a very pleasant experience! I found nhi through a random Google search, and I’m so glad I got a tattoo from her because her line work is insane I was initially a little stunned by her quotation especially because I was asking for a very small tattoo and it’s in Vietnam, but after getting the tattoo from her studio, I realise a lot of work goes into her pricing. You’re paying for her skills plus the service and she has a media assistant to help take really nice photos of your tattoo. Honestly, I would come back again in the future to get a bigger piece from her if I do come back to Vietnam again 🙂‍↕️

I have getting tattoos from @nhi.ink since 2022 and I can’t recommend her enough. I always impressed by how great my tattoos turn out after fully healed and how professional the whole team is. See you again soon :)
