With many different artists & styles of work, there is bound to be someone that will be able to do what you’re looking for. I was lucky enough to be able to get booked in 2 separate times with the lovely Dori. She handpoked each of my tattoos, with such precision and professionalism. I was so happy the first time, I had to come back before the end of my trip. She listened carefully to what I did & didn’t want, then designed me a version which came out looking better than I had imagined. Thanks so much again! If I ever find myself back in Hanoi, I don’t think i’ll be able to resist, I’ll have to come back!

I highly recommend booking at Handxam! Kozu did my tattoo and he was so friendly and I felt very comfortable! My friend and I both had a flight after our appointment, and the artists were so accomodating and made sure we were done before we had to go to the airport. They were kind enough to give us appointments on their off day as that was the only day we could do. Great experience, if you are in Hanoi I would definitely go here :)

I got a tattoo here while I was in Hanoi. The guys are phenomenal, super precise, punctual, and clean. I recommend this tattoo studio to anyone looking for a custom tattoo in Hanoi!! If I'll ever be back in Hanoi and want another tattoo I'll surely ask them.

I found Dang prior to my holiday through Instagram and consulted him on a lettering design. His communication was fast & clear; I felt like I could trust him with creating the perfect design. My sister & I arrived to get matching tattoos, and were greeted warmly. The studio is clean & comfortable, everyone was so friendly and we’re both thrilled with the final results

Very relaxed and cool atmosphere. I got a tattoo by Kozu as I loved his style of work but all the artists there are very talented and friendly. Definitely recommend if you want to get a tattoo in Hanoi ☺️

I had a wonderful time getting my tattoo from kozu here! It was a super last minute booking and he graciously took me on. Super cute flash and a respectful, cute and clean place. Looks to be a very chill and community oriented space, with one of the other artists daughter coming in and playing and talking with us as we got our tattoos. Seems to be that locals and visitors alike love getting tattoos at HanXam! One day when I’m back I hope to get another.

I got part of my back tattoo done here a few months ago. First of all, it healed amazingly. The atmosphere in the studio is incredible, and everyone is really welcoming and friendly. I got tattooed by Hung Xu (the owner of the studio) because I loved his style and really wanted to incorporate it into my little collection (I get a tattoo for every country I visit). It was a bit spontaneous and I was really picky with the design, but he was so accommodating and took the time to design the perfect piece. My experience at the studio was fantastic. He took a lot of time to make the placement perfectly symmetrical and always knew exactly when I needed a short break. You should definitely come here to get your next tattoo!

Hung and his team are so hospitable, kind, attentive and supportive! The studio is so warm and welcoming, Hung fed us before our session, which was soooo helpful because I knew how much more pain I'd be in if I wasn't well fed. It was a very long session but Hung made sure to check in frequently and was very supportive. I loveeeeeee my tattoo so much!!!! A memory I will never forget.

Had a great experience here - I messaged them on Instagram with an idea and was able to get an appointment almost immediately. The tattooing process was really good and Mr Simple was super helpful with working out placement and sizing.

Couldn’t dream of a better experience for a tattoo in Hanoi. All the staff was great and so nice. My tattoo with Mr.Simple is just perfect. It was a last minute idea and he went out of his way to create my dream tattoo in a few hours. 100% recommend, every artist is very skilled ! Two of my friends got tattoos with the other artists and they are beautiful. This will be a forever memory of Hanoi thanks to Mr Simple.

I had an incredible experience at Handxam Tattoo during my trip to Vietnam. I originally reached out over social media to set up a small piece, but since we had some extra time to spare once I got there, we went for it and did a half sleeve instead. I’m absolutely stoked with the design. The detail is amazing, and it’s easily the best souvenir from my trip. What really stood out was how they treated me. Since I ended up being there most of the day for the larger piece, the crew was nice enough to invite me to join them for lunch. It’s rare to find a shop that’s not only high-level with their art but also that welcoming. If you’re in Vietnam and looking for world-class ink and good people, go see them. Highly recommend!

My husband and I booked in tattoo's as our own souvenir from Hanoi (my first). The whole team was welcoming and warm. Their attention to detail and patience is commendable.We had to bring both our children and the team were so gracious with them. Shoutout to Tuan for giving them their own hand drawn tattoos, he's truely given them a lasting memory in their childhood.

Came here for a consultation yesterday after looking at their work online. The manager and Mister Simple were welcoming and helpful. The whole shop was really. Nice clean, chill environment. Came back later in the day once the design was completed and we tweaked it a bit more and got straight into it. The tattoo involved a cover up, as well as going over a scar. Really pleased with the result, even went back today as it leaked a bit overnight and they were only to happy to check it out for me this morning. From the moment I stepped inside and discussing and describing the tattoo design, language wasn't a barrier. Google translate got a few words we were stuck on. To get to the studio you need to walk into the basement, up a flight of stairs and then into the lift. Highly recommend! 10/10

I can really recommend this studio, I got warmly welcomed and always felt very comfortable. I got my first tattoo here and @flottattoo explained everything to me and was so kind! Still happy with the individual design I got and good quality as well!

I got a Vietnamese bronze drum tattoo on my wrist in the U.S. last year and honestly wasn’t happy with how it turned out. Later, I came across Anh Hung’s Instagram and realized his style was exactly what I had originally wanted. I liked his work so much that I decided to travel to Hanoi to get tattooed by him. Since I already had the tattoo, he worked with what was there—adding design elements and doing some cover-up work to improve it. I’m really happy with how it turned out. I only wish I had gotten the tattoo done by him from the start because I’m sure I would have loved it even more. Now I can finally wear my tattoo proudly without feeling like I need to hide it. The shop itself is clean and has a great vibe, and the other artists there are incredibly talented as well. I highly recommend this place if you’re ever in Hanoi and want to leave with a meaningful piece of Vietnam
