Walked into Lantern and Moth Tattoo and got a small lantern tattoo done by Eric. The whole experience was professional from start to finish. The shop is super clean, the staff are really friendly and Eric did amazing work with great attention to detail. Australian owned with high standards, great pricing, and amazing work. Couldn’t be happier with the result and would highly recommend Lantern and Moth Tattoo to anyone visiting Da Nang looking for quality work.

I had an amazing experience at Moth and Lantern in Da Nang. The studio is incredibly clean and well maintained with hygiene clearly being a top priority here, which made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. The standard here is to an international standard if not better. Dee and Eric are seriously talented artists. Their attention to detail, steady hands, and ability to bring ideas to life really stand out. You can tell they care deeply about their craft and their clients. Chris, the owner, is just as impressive being friendly, approachable, and genuinely welcoming. He creates a relaxed atmosphere that makes the whole experience even better. From the moment you walk in you are greeted by the staff from chris the owner who is from Australia, to Kelly who helps you through the process of deciding what you want.after that you are moved over to the artist Eric and his skill level and attention to detail is amazing, during which they offer you something to drink ,coffee or water and then it starts his skill and attention to detail is so intricate and nothing is missing, after a break they offer you lunch and back to it.you get to see true art unfold before your very eyes,every aspect of this was such a wonderful experience i shall never forget this shop and the staff here in danang Vietnam, so seriously if you are looking for artwork to bring home stop in and let the wonderful people of this shop give you a memory that you will look back upon with a smile not only in artwork but knowing that a true artist has created a memory for you

I went to lantern and moth on 30/03/26 and got an upper sleeve and cover up done. The original tattoo I asked for, Chris texted me beforehand and said it's a hard one and may still see some of the old tattoo. I was asked the day before to go in and have a look at the design they came up with and absolutely loved it. The moment my wife and I walked in on the day we were treated like royalty by both Kelly and Eric who tattooed me. We were overwhelmed by how comfortable they made us feel. We showed photos of crocodiles we encountered in Cairns with Kelly. She was amazed. My wife also stayed with me for the 7-8 hours and Kelly went to the trouble of checking in on my wife and showing her where to best get food. My whole experience was exceptional and Eric is an absolute genius as to what he can tattoo. We are definitely coming back in 12 months and will definitely be getting more ink done. I highly recommend lantern and moth. Keep up the great work Chris and all the team.

I couldn’t imagine a better experience for my first tattoo! Walking in with my friend, it was bright, clean and full of good vibes. Kelly greeted us immediately and was a pleasure to talk to as we discussed our tattoo ideas. We got to speak to the owner Chris and he had some good suggestions on how to tweak the designs to fit what we were really aiming for. The artists then knocked it out of the park! I am beyond pleased - Alex’s final product was better than I had hoped for! Kelly then gave us detailed after-care instructions and made us feel like we were in good hands. As soon as I take the “second-skin” off, I’ll update the review with a photo. Highly recommend this shop to anyone looking to add some art to their bodies!

Really disappointed with the experience at Lantern and Moth. Communicated really well with the receptionist about what I was after and had sketches and references included. The design was 90% completed. The artist disregarded what I wanted entirely and simply copy and pasted a design that looked entirely different. After spending time going back and forth with no change, I decided against going with them. They kept the 2 million VND deposit and completely wasted my time. I would not recommend.

From the very beginning, the owner Chris was fantastic—extremely responsive to my emails and very thorough in addressing all my questions and concerns. He provided a clear and fair quote, which made the planning process from abroad seamless. My artist, Dee, was top-tier. His preparation and setup were meticulous, which immediately put me at ease regarding the studio's high hygiene standards. During the session, Dee really took his time to ensure every fine detail was perfect (we did a custom 15cm piece with intricate hidden lettering). He didn't rush the process at all, and the result is absolutely fantastic. The entire staff was friendly, interactive, and made the whole studio feel welcoming. If you are looking for a professional, Western-standard tattoo experience in Vietnam with artists who truly care about their craft, I cannot recommend Lantern & Moth enough. This is such a great tattoo parlour! Super fresh and clean studio with the most relaxing vibe which makes you feel right at home. Dee did a fantastic job on my tiny tatt and the way they take tattooing seriously (with forms to fill out and proper aftercare) made me feel so safe and comfortable. Couldn’t recommend this place enough and my only regret is not finding it sooner so I could have done a couple more!
